We’re happy to inform that we had a successful meeting with Dr Hans Mark and Dr Patrik Boivie, Associate Professors in the Dept. of Plastic Surgery from Sahlgrenska Academy. They are from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Following the meeting, an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed at GC4. It was for the collaboration on Cleft Research on 1st Dec 2017.
The Program was “Mission Smile Sahlgrenska Academy, Sweden Research Program on Cleft”. Dr Hitesh was the Project Leader. He signed the MoU on behalf of Mission Smile. The first project discussed was follow up of post-surgery patients of 5 years of age. This was for speech and orthodontics evaluation.
Apart from Sahlgrenska University, we had also discussed the possibility of extending the collaboration with five other Universities of Sweden and exposure of GC4 in European Cleft Organizations.
