We are glad that in April 2016 we had completed medical mission in Vizag. This is our third medical mission in the port city, Vizag. Mission kicked off with an inaugural session with the presence of dignitaries from Muthhoot Pappachan Foundation, Gitam Medical College, Mission Smile and medical and non medical volunteers and international volunteers.

A total of 147 patients were screened at this mission site. All the patients went through various screening stations and 90 patients were found fit for surgery for their Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate and other facial deformities.

Just like last time, Gitam Medical College was our mission site and we are grateful to them for providing us the hospital premise to carry out screening of the patients and their surgeries.

We thank the entire medical and non-medical volunteers, mission partner Muthoot Pappachan Foundation and partner hospital Gitam Medical College to make this mission successful.
